I really debated if i should review the Toff or not, i mean probably every single person in Melbourne has been here many times and nothing i can really say is going to be much different from the 86 reviews that are already on Goooogle. Still it's my blog and i'll review if i want to.Toff is a late night landmark for a very good reason. It's banging late at night. This is the place you want to keep up your sleeve for that time of the night when the girls in you're group say i want to go somewhere good and dance.
The bar is split into two side. One one side they have a great little booth section where you can sit, talk and get some privacy. The other side is essentially a bandroom/dancefloor, which also has it's own bar and small smoking area on the balcony. It's always free entry unless they have a live band and i've been brought here many time and had a great time dancing away. There is always a pretty young crowd and good gender mix. The bar staff are also great as well as the security who take their job seriously but if you're not too tipsy won't give you a hard time just for fun.
Toff also has a great main smoking area of the left side bar. It's very large and a great place to go get your chat on with your fellow smokers or people just escaping from the loud music for awhile. This is a very good place if you're planning a big night. Also they have a cloak room at the main entrance which i miss and love when i see them, nothing worse than having to hold your girl friends bag all night!
