The Golden Monkey is a great little Chinese themed bar hidding down stairs in hardware lane. It's plush but relaxed with great cocktails and Asian tapas. This is a fairly large venue which is seperated into lots of different private areas. The action is mostly sit down with groups of friends enjoying drink and talking. They also have an in house dj which plays some great music.
If you're looking for a nice place to have a quiet drink especially if your wanting to take a special someone to enjoy their company and not have to yell at them across load music. This is also a great place to go if you want to meet some very sexy Asian girls all dressed up in cocktail dresses
