This is another great venue just off Lonsdale st. They have done well to give there bar a good range of spaces so you cAn take advantage of what you like in a bar. Kind of like a restaurant that serves different type of cuisine to suit everyone in your group. They are more focused on cocktails and spirits than beers but have bottled coopers so that nice. The decor is great with good areas on level one for small groups to hang out. There is also a Di and dance floor area but venue is still intimate.
Upstairs they have a second bar and an open deck that looks out on to the street of Melbourne below. It's great to chill here with a drink in hand and watch the busy city life bustle past while you relax. I haven't been here much on the weekends but it seems to be one of those places that can go from dead to lively on different nights. I'm starting to like just chilling out and talking one on one so after work is good but if you want to dance in a place with good drinks and good staff come here on the weekends.
I this would be the perfect venue for a group of around ten as you'd have space to take over and a place to escape if it gets too loud and has some bar seating for the solo drinking sessions that are sometimes needed in life. all in all I really like this venue and think it's one of the better places in the cod. Not to big but the right mix of space and style.
