I know i throw the word unique around a fair but but this place is truly unique. It's a Tiki bar in epic proportions Incredible blue Hawaii decor, with features like statues of raptors with diamond collars, glowing skulls and go go dancers dressed like Betty Rubble cave girls. This is a very big place with two separate bars so you can sit around a rum barrel and chat or relax in a bamboo booth. The main band room is quite wild and every one comes to dance, they feature a lot of great live bands but the DJ's are great as well if you like 60's style fun.
They love their cocktails but have fun with them as well. You'll often have little zombie faces or tentacle hanging out from the glass, but they always taste incredible. For boring boys like me they rum old fashioned or cheap bottles of Melbourne bitter. They also Have great smoking area, with a giant Tiki face with glowing eyes to keep you company.
This place is a show stopper and one of the only clubs in Melbourne i know people dress up like a costume party just to come. If like me you love girls with fringes and tattoo's this place is just incredible. The best nights I'd say some are Saturdays not Fridays as people dress up more then. Its actually one of the only places i would wear a suit as out to a bar as it does have a very fun, party, dress up vibe.
Come to dance and you'll have lots of fun also on Wednesday they have Rum club in the front bar with a great selection of rums at half price. Needless to say security and staff here are great. The staff in particular are very cool and the Skipper Josh does a really great job running it all with some great character. I love this place!
