Bomba - Rooftop

I love this venue. It's a tiny rooftop with a great view of Lonsdale at, little elevator to the bar and great decor. The little room has a huge window on three sides and heater so it's wArm enough in winter but you can still enjoy the Melbourne breeze. Clearly it's smoking friendly and their drink rices are fairly standard for me,Bourne. The only issue for me is its popular and it's popular with the after work drinks Collins street suit crowd but that's probably a plus for most.

It should be given its got a great cocktail menu, good mixed drinks and quiet jazz playing but I'm not a suit anymore so I don't really like being around them that much. That being said if your a suit you'll probably love this place. If you're A rock n roll snob like me, just come here on a Sunday afternoon or after 9 when the drinker have done a shift change from the people who came straight from work to the people who went home then came out later sans suits.

This venue has a well earned place in bars I like because it truly is a bar I like. The venue is great and the people Re relaxed and mind their own business it's just a good place to go if you want to meet a banker or listen to them talk while drinking.
