Asian Beer Cafe or ABC for the lazy is one of those bars i find myself in at least once a week without really trying or planning. It's located right in Melbourne Central and is probably a place you've been to as well, if you can remember it or not, depends on the drink specials they had that night!

It's a pretty good staple bar in Melbourne and has a lot to recommend it. Heaps of drink and food specials, great smoking balcony, lots of people and a very interesting decor. The men's toilets are a little bizarre with manga girls top to bottom but they pull it off.

This place gets extremely busy and if you're plan is too go out and meet some new friends this is a pretty good place as everyone is very chatty, especially on said balcony. Some of the better specials they run all the time are $4 pizzas, $1 champagne for girls on Thursdays and $5 dollar bottles of Sol all the time. Sol is a pretty good imitation of corona which is very easy to drink.


This is a great place to hold a meet up group or work function as it's very big and pretty quite if you pick the right times like sat and Sunday afternoons.
