Sister Bella is probably the most hidden of the hidden laneway bars in Melbourne. Drewry place would be pretty sinister if they had painted the end of the alley with some truly epic street art and have spot light shining on it at all hours.

The bar is upstairs on a rickety staircase and a nice surprise when you walk in. It's relaxed and casual with very hip and friendly staff. Lots of street art inspired decor like broken skateboards hanging from the roof, along with creeping vines and vintage bird cages.

I've said it before in reviews but this place is unique. It's a bit scruffy, but it has a whole lot of charm as well. It would certainly be a great place to go for a solo drinking session, sitting at the bar or snuggle up with someone in the booths that line the back wall. They also have a kitchen open late doing fries, pizza and curry, which is well done and very affordable. The Curry of the day is normally $12.

This place get quite humming on the weekends and if you like old school hiphop but not so loud you can't talk then this is your sort of place.
