Double Happiness is part of the group of Bars all run.owned by the Lily black team.I don't know these guys personally, but i feel like they certainly know how to start and run a great bar. Double Happiness is small, intimate and relaxed, This is best for small groups or out with a friend to catch up.
As the name may suggest it's a Chinese themed bar and when i say Chinese i mean communist era Moa's china. They have lot of social realism posters on the walls and feature cocktails with names like "the great leap forward" If you like cocktails this is a great place to come as it's small enough you always get a good chat with your bartender and they are a friendly bunch.
I like the size and unknown qualities of this bar, it's still off the grid even though it's a super central location. Little smoking area inside as well and a lot of Chinese beers to try in big bottles. Personally i quite like Beer Loa. If you've never been here you should give it a look, it's great if you need to take people to a cool place they have never been before.
